NSBE Jr provides activities to help students discover firsthand how engineering and technology relate to the world around them and discover the excitement of academic excellence, leadership, technical development and teamwork. During this year our DCHE NSBE Jr Chapter will explore Engineering disciplines, and complete hands-on Engineering Activities including Interdisciplinary Engineering (Security Engineering and Software Engineering), Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering (Robotics). The DCHE NSBE Jr Chapter is also a registered MATHCOUNTS National Math Club Chapter and will explore Math Games, Explorations, and Problem Sets throughout the school-year. By completing monthly activities successfully, DCHE NSBE Jr members are eligible to earn the following awards throughout this year: CyberPatriot Certificate of Achievement Award, Hour of Code Certificate of Completion Award, and Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Education Excellence (AEX) Award.  This Chapter meets once a month as a group with individual activities completed throughout the month. This Chapter is advised by Mrs. Jenelle Davis.
