Dear Homeschool Families,

God created our world and those who inhabit it. He is sovereign over them. He has ordained specific institutions such as government and family. The purpose of social studies is to foster a love for God, for our country, and a respect for other cultures in the world He created.  It enables students to understand the world around them and how they relate to it. The study of the history, geography, economics, and social structures of the world establishes the foundation of responsible citizenship in society.  Projects may be entered by individual students or by groups of students.  Exhibits will be judged according to the attached guidelines and awarded a ribbon.

If you are interested in volunteering to serve as a judge, please let me know. Non-DCHE members are welcome to join us.  The fee is $3 per project entry for non-members.  Please submit the fee via PayPal at dcheeducators@gmail.com.
